Playing Career

• 1994 - 2001

I was a playing professional on various golf tours all over the UK including the Mastercard Tour, Players Tour, MTM Tour and Hippo Tour achieving numerous top 10 finishes.

• 1993

I turned Professional, Handicap 0.

• 1987 - 1993

I played as a junior at Runcorn Golf Club winning several amateur tournaments. I am still the course record holder with 6 under par and was twice winner of the Club Championship.

Previous Positions

Thermengolf Loipersdorf, Österreich

I have established my own golf academy at this busy 27-hole championship golf course in Austria with a customer base throughout Europe made up predominantly of German speaking golfers.

• 1999 - 2001 

I worked for Halton College as the Head Golf Tutor to promote golf in the local community.

• 1998 - 2001 

I worked as a Head PGA Professional on both a busy golf driving range at Sutton Weaver and at High Legh Park Golf Club which is thriving 27-hole championship golf course designed by Mark James, former European Tour star.

• 1993 - 1998

Runcorn Golf Club, Cheshire, England

I began my professional career in golf as an Assistant Professional at Runcorn Golf Club (my home club) and three years later qualified as a Head PGA Professional.

My golf tuition features on a regular basis both in the SFTW (Something For The Weekend) section and in the Golfer’s Forum in this highly popular UK based golfing website. Golf Magic boasts a massive online golf community in the UK with a busy user’s forum and is widely renowned as a great source of topical industry news and information.

"Fit for Golf" Initiative

I launched „Fit For Golf” together with the official team physiotherapist of a professional Austrian basketball team, a specialist in human bio-mechanics. The aim is to improve all-round fitness and agility, including mental preparation techniques, tailored specifically to golfers. 

• 2003 

Austrian Business & Golf Academy

I formed the first Austrian Business & Golf Academy in partnership with a local business consultant connecting companies within Austria through the game of golf.

•  1994 - 2005

Golf Travel Packages

I organised golf tuition packages with pupils and golf societies to various destinations around the UK and Europe visiting (amongst others) Le Golf National (Paris, France), St. Andrews (Scotland), Royal Birkdale (England) and Royal Liverpool (England).
